potential

A game needs to be fun. That is a given. But how do u make it fun? I dont really know, but I do know this game isnt much fun.. at least after a while, in the beginning it is.

I love these kind of games, especially with so much upgrades. The enemies are increasingly harder and achievement hunting really pays off. actually the game has all elements. graphs are nice, music is good, physics are ok etc etc.

Why such a low score then? well as I said a game needs to be fun and after a while this game just gets to hard and you have no way of getting through the next level. its frustrating.

WHY do you loose your upgrades (and achievements) when u die in a level? this breaks the game. It is such a pity. If I dont make a level with the upgrades I have why would I make it the next time? maybe if it were close, but if it werent close then there is no way.. right?? In the beginning I thought I got a free upgrade point after I died, since I seemed to get one every time I died. I though: "nice, good way to lead you through the game" but I wasnt able to win the level (17-18 or something). Then I noticed that I lost all upgrades I got during that level.. WHY?

The method needed to destroy boats is oke, but it does require making yourself extremely vulnerable. if the ocean is seriously filled with bombs, arrows, depth charges, torpedo's, tnt etc all causing MASSIVE damage then it becomes too hard. regen is not nearly effective enough and any upgrade on hunger and air is insignificant.

After I got stuck the first time, I started over to try to get achievements faster so as to arrive at level 17-18 with more upgrades. I think I did, but I stranded at about the same level.

there is a very, VERY, simple solution. DONT make upgrades disappear and give a free upgrade when you die (or die 3 times in a row or something). There is no need to make this game impossible.

Fix that and youll get 5/5 10/10 but for now it is just frustrating and insanely hard =equals= boring

tip

instead of having to click to change colors dedicate a keyboard button.

Its probably my mouse but when I clicked once the color often quickly changed and immediatly changed back to its original color.

game is challenging, but a bit boring.

lol got #1 highscore

.. for now.

This is probably the easiest game I've ever played (seriously). I dont think I was shot upon after level 1 when I tried to figure out the reload button.

The sniper rifle is WAY overpowered. there was no challenge, none, zero, de nada.

graphics looked pretty cool, but it could use some extra enemies, tanks, choppers etc. I did see multiple color infantry I am not sure if they differed from each other cause I killed them all as soon as they walked into the screen.

If I can kill like 4 enemies with one shot, and I can shoot as fast as I can click, you need to send way more enemies to make it a bit more challenging. Also make enemies that can take more then one shot of the second gun u buy (in my case sniper).

I didnt really notice any difference with the skills, I'm sure they were there, but again, a level needs to be challenging to measure such a thing, no enemy even came close of shooting.

So because the game has literally zero challenge in it, the score must be low. I like the graphics and it could have been an OK (not good, cause the set-up is simple as well) game, but for now 1/5

Should be easy to alter.

wow

first off let me say that road of the dead is an awesome game, no doubt about that.

I do love the graphics and sounds, they are very nicely done. The game works without a glitch and the animations are smooth.

The game itself however seems extremely boring to me. I need to farm for RP, get the objectives and do the whole thing over and over and over again. The objectives seem to remain the same.

There is no tension, I cant die (so far) and all I can do is choose and click. research goes so slow, I researched it twice (speed), but it just takes ages. In that time I can farm RP, by doing the same thing I've been doing since the start.

I just dont see it, I dont 'get it' whats the goal? whats the point? I am not impatient, but a game like this must be faster. Since you just give or throw things to the zombies it misses pace.

I was very exited when I saw this game, I love zombie games (also passive games). I gave it a fair shot, played it for about 45 minutes, but then I realized things werent gonna change and this was it. bummer...

not so great

This has probably been mentioned before, but ill say it again anyways.

This game is one click fest, and thats about it. I have soo much resources of all kinds, but all I need is gold. That would be fine if I could trade my other resources IN BULK for gold, not just 1. My income of lumber was higher then I could lose it trading it for gold.

same goes for buying units, you need to click click click.

Especially annoying when I just click-bought a huge army only to lose them ALL in a battle. guess I have to click-buy them all again. (can u believe I bought an army of 500 hencman, 1000 conscripts, 500 warriors and a bunch of other dudes from scrap, apparently I clicked over 2000 times, you just gave me RSI)

Maybe I had to little number in my army, but with 500 henchmen I still wasnt carrying any thing worthwile coming home. the quest were useless to me.

to send the units was also a pain, its not user friendly.

I did try it, and in the beginning its kinda fun, but later on it gets impossible to play because of the aforementioned.

also no autosave

2/5

haha

easy peasy then BAM lvl 15. I tried a few dozen times and then got bored. didnt even make it half way and I could see fuel would also become a factor, so I figured it would take a lot of tries. And if this is the first level i couldn't finish within 10 seconds it would get even more frustrating later on.

game is simple, controls feel 'unnatural', enemies are boring, graphs are so so, music is annoying, there is no autosave??

levels are weird, the goal is to get the red ruby and if you WANT coins, but the levels are goat easy when you dont want any coins. I dont care about highscore's I just want to finish a level.

so no, I dont mind hard games, but they must enable learning. the controls are so off (i know its intentional) that you need luck, that has nothing to do with a hard game.. if u know what i mean

1/5

frustration

thats the main feeling i was left with. Its an oke game, but pff pretty hard. The movement isnt very precise yet you create levels where you need miniscure movements. That makes it very frustrating cause you make a lot of annoying mistakes.

I do like the game though, I DID finish it. I was a little disappointed with the ending scenes.

As far as these types of games go, this one is complex, but again to frustrating

okay

its a pretty funny game, but it looks unfinished to me. there are some very annoying factors that come about when playing it longer.

first it very annoying that you cannot see what world youve already completed, its ok if you can go back, but atleast mark it or something. Same goes for spells. You have to check which spells you have before you buy them. it needs a text where you can see if you already posses the spell.

I did not notice any difference with speed improvement. What does it do? It was always turn by turn.

The size of the menu and battlefield seems a bit off, bot very bothering, but looks a bit lame.

I always had a shortage of storage room. While this may be a part of the game, its gets a bit ridiculous when you have 5 items equipped and have very few little storage for heal fruits. When levels become very long, I would like to atleast be able to store the items I find, but I cant.

you also have to store spells and maps before you can use them, again making the storage an issue

you cannot upgrade your MP. later spells drain almost all your MP and are thus not really usefull since you also need heal.

overall its kinda fun to play, but again looks unfinished and to many things that bother me.

love it

I love this game, its full of awesomeness. took me a while to complete, but I am there now (with exception of one challenge)

I love how you really need to now the different bikes to be able to reach the goals. People seem to complain that it gets hard at the end, and it does but most definitely not impossible.

for example, when the level has lots of large mountains, meaning you have to go up steep, take a bike that is already leaning forward like 'the prof'. he is awesome on the level where you only go up, other bikes wont handle that.

So yeah there is some more depth to this game and you dont see that a lot in flashgames, very nice job.

minigames are a good for intermissions.

2 question though, what do I get for upgrading minigames?? I didnt really understand that, nor the level upgrade level. Do I get more money or
something?

2nd even though I got all achievements except one in my inventory (getting 1st place with elvis at final lair is f-ing hard) I still missing 18 characters. I can account for maybe 2 or 3, but 18? what am i missing?

good

Pretty fun puzzle game, with new factors almost every level and good learning curve. definately deserves frontpage, but why a score of 1.79? Thatll change

good game, nice graphs (I love the background).

it sometimes does lack a bit of responsiveness, especially noticable at points you have to act really fast
